Despacito is in the first list of the most viewed YouTube videos of all time with 5.82 billion views which was uploaded on January 12, 2017. Despacito is spanish song by Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi featuring PuertonRican reggaeton rapper Daddy Yankee.

Despacito music video shows both artists performing the song in La Perla neighborhood of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico and the local bar La Factoría. The song was written by Fonsi, Erika Ender, and Daddy Yankee, and was produced by Mauricio Rengifo and Andrés Torres.

A few months later, Cabadian singer Justin Biber released the remix version of Despacito dated on April 17, 2017, which probably helped to improve the views. 

2. Ed Sheeran - Shape of You (3,970,034,048)


Shape of You is a song by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, which is on the second list of most viewed YouTube videos of all time with 3.97 billion views. Shape of You was realesed as a digital download on January 6, 2017 as one of the double lead singles.

Shape of You peaked at number-one on the singles charts of 34 countries, including the US Billboard Hot 100 as well as the UK, Australian and Canadian singles charts. It is also listed as the best performing song of 2017. It has stayed at number one for a record-tying 16 consecutive weeks on the Canadian Hot 100, as well as 14 non-consecutive weeks on the UK Singles Chart, and 12 non-consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.

On 10 December 2018, the song became the first song to hit 2 billion streams, most streamed song on Spotify, It was the best-selling song of 2017 in the UK. It was the best selling song of 2017 and the best selling digital song worldwide.

The song won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. Currently, Billboard has ranked Shape of You as the ninth most successful song of all-time, as the magazine celebrated the Hot 100's 60th anniversary.

3. Wiz Khalifa - See You Again ft. Charlie Puth (3,926,777,383)


See You Again is in the third list of most viewed YouTube videos of all time with 3.92 billion views. See You Again is a song recorded by American rapper Wiz Khalifa, featuring American singer Charlie Puth which was released on March 10, 2015. The track was commissioned for the soundtrack of the 2015 action film Furious 7 as a tribute to actor Paul Walker, who died in a single-vehicle accident on November 30, 2013 in Valencia, California.

The music video was the most viewed video on YouTube from July 10 to August 4, 2017. See You Again received three nominations at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards: Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media and was  the best selling-song of 2015 worldwide.

See You Again became both Khalifa's and Puth's biggest single to date.

4. Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk ft. Bruno Mars (3,397,523,820)


Uptown Funk is fourth most viewed YouTube video of all time with 3.39 billion views on YouTube to date, song recorded by British record producer Mark Ronson featuring American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars. RCA Records released the song as the album's lead single on 10 November 2014 and published the music video on November 19, 2014 on YouTube. 

The song features heavy inspiration from the Minneapolis sound of 1980s-era funk music. Ronson and Mars recorded it at multiple different locations worldwide, ranging from recording studios to dressing rooms.

Uptown Funk became the second best-selling single of 2015  after See You Again ft. Charlie Puth by Wiz Khalifa and one of the best-selling of all-time. The song won two Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, and the Brit Award for British Single of the Year.

Masha and the Bear - Recipe for disaster is the only one of the most viewed video on YouTube of all time that is not a music video positioning at fifth with 3.39 billion views. It is the Russian language version. 

Masha and the Bear is a Russian animated television series  created by Oleg Kuzovkov and produced by Animaccord Animation Studio (Moscow, the Russian Federation), loosely based on the oral children's folk story of the same name. The show focuses on the adventures of a little girl named Masha and a fatherly bear that always keeps her from disasters. The first episode was released in 2009.

The series has been translated into 25 languages and was broadcast in more than 100 countries. The series was released on Netflix and through NBCUniversal. Many of the episode have been successful on YouTube.

6. PSY - Gangnam Style (3,255,155,175)





The music video of "Gangnam Style" by recording artist Psy is currently the sixth most viewed and the fourth most liked video on YouTube. It was directed by Cho Soo-hyun. The music video was filmed in Seoul for 48 straight hours. The video was premiered on July 15, 2012 and was later made available to download digitally on October 19.[1] In the music video Psy "pokes fun at the style of Seoul's Gangnam-gu, a flashy district with high rents, high expectations and a focus on the high-status lifestyle".[2] In December 2012, the music video was the first to hit 1 billion views on the video-sharing website YouTube and in June 2014 the video had surpassed 2 billion views.[3][4] As of September 2018, the video has received over 3.2 billion views.
